This site was setup, as the name indicates, for the Youth of the Gayatri Gyan Mandir to provide a virtual meeting place. Our goal is to invoke a stronger sense of religious and cultural involvement within the youth of the mandir by fostering the free and open exchange of ideas. There is a page on the site dedicated to the book discussions which kicked off this entire "reawakening" in the first place. There is also a calendar of events which will list upcoming meetings, yagnas, holidays, birthdays and anything else worthy of mention. There is also a projects page where details of the youth groups current undertakings can be found. The hope is that we will have enough content to update often and that there is enough interest that the site gets visited often as well. And as always let's not forget about the Message Board. There still will be regular posts on the message board. It's an open forum where anyone can share their thoughts and feelings regarding whatever they want. |
